Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a compensation of ₹1 crore for the family of Constable Pramod, who was brutally murdered in Nizamabad. Speaking at the Police Martyrs’ Commemoration event in Hyderabad, the CM assured full support to the grieving family.
He also declared that one family member will be given a government job, along with 300 square yards of residential land. In addition, the government announced ₹16 lakh from Police Security Welfare and ₹8 lakh from Police Welfare funds.
CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that the state is committed to the safety, dignity, and welfare of police personnel, and reiterated that the government will stand firmly with the families of officers who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty.
