15 Drones, 150 CCTV Cameras Deployed to Monitor Arasavilli Temple Crowd
Srikakulam Superintendent of Police said that strong security arrangements have been made to manage the crowd at the famous Arasavilli Sun Temple. As many as 15 drones and 150 CCTV cameras will be used to monitor devotees during the festival period. The aim is to ensure safety and smooth movement of people visiting the temple.
The SP said that six senior police officials, including an Additional Superintendent of Police, will closely supervise the security arrangements. They will monitor live drone visuals and CCTV footage from a control room. Police personnel will be deployed at important points to avoid overcrowding and traffic problems.
Special arrangements have also been made for women, children, and elderly devotees. Emergency medical teams and help desks will be available at the temple premises. The SP appealed to devotees to cooperate with the police and follow instructions for a peaceful and safe temple visit.
