After Holi, 15 Holi special trains will run from Muzaffarpur to manage the heavy rush of passengers. The East Central Railway has released the complete schedule. These trains will operate on different dates from Muzaffarpur and nearby stations to help people return to work and other cities smoothly.
The railway confirmed that 15 Holi special trains will run from Muzaffarpur to major destinations including Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Hubballi, Ernakulam and other key cities. Services will begin in early March and continue till the end of the month.
Some trains will run weekly, while others will operate on selected days. Special services include routes from Raxaul and Saharsa to Mumbai, and additional trains towards Delhi and other metro cities.
Railway officials said they are closely monitoring passenger demand. They may add more special trains if ticket bookings increase in the coming days.
