The police acted on specific intelligence inputs gathered over recent weeks. As a result, multiple teams conducted simultaneous searches in Amritsar and surrounding districts.

Meanwhile, officers focused on premises linked to individuals already under the scanner. They examined documents, electronic devices, and financial records. In addition, teams questioned several people connected to the case. These steps aim to trace the movement of the missing saroops and identify those responsible.

Importantly, Bhullar said the police remain committed to conducting a fair and transparent investigation. He stressed that the 328 Saroops case carries deep religious and emotional significance for the Sikh community. Therefore, the police are proceeding with caution and respect while ensuring strict action against offenders.
