Andhra Pradesh Minister Satya Kumar announced that free medical tests have been conducted for 34 lakh women under the state’s ‘Swastha Nari Sashakti Parivar Abhiyan’ program, which began on the 17th of this month.
The initiative aims to improve women’s health by offering essential screenings at community-level medical camps. Tests being conducted include blood pressure, blood sugar, cancer screenings, and other key health assessments. Minister Satya Kumar emphasized that the medical camps will continue until the 2nd of next month, ensuring that women across the state have access to these services.
Additionally, the government has committed to providing treatment for those who show signs of any health issues during the screenings. The program reflects the state’s dedication to empowering women through preventive healthcare and early detection, promoting healthier families and stronger communities throughout Andhra Pradesh.
