Vijayawada’s Indrakeeladri Hill will host grand Dasara celebrations from September 22 to October 2 , 2025. During this 11-day festival , Goddess Kanaka Durga will be adorned in 11 distinct decorations , each day highlighting a different aspect of the divine feminine.
The schedule of decorations is as follows: September 22 – Bala Tripura Sundari Devi, September 23 – Gayatri Devi, September 24 – Annapurna Devi, September 25 – Katyayani Devi, September 26 – Mahalakshmi Devi, September 27 – Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi, September 28 – Mahachandi Devi, September 29 – Saraswati Devi, September 30 – Durga Devi, October 1 – Mahishasuramardini Devi, and October 2 – Raja Rajeshwari Devi.
Devotees from across Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states are expected to visit the temple to witness these divine decorations and participate in the traditional rituals. The festival is a significant cultural and spiritual event, combining devotion, artistry, and vibrant celebrations, attracting thousands of devotees and tourists each year.
