Pakistani politician Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman said authorities in Balochistan are kidnapping people. Thousands of Baloch youth and activists have disappeared over the years. Their families continue to protest and demand their return.

At a gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the JUI-P leader accused the Pakistani deep state of illegal abductions. Human rights groups have criticized these actions, but the violence continues.

American human rights lawyer Reed Brody urged the world to act. At the 7th Balochistan International Conference in Geneva, he called for independent probes into disappearances, killings, and harassment of women activists. The event was hosted by the Baloch National Movement (BNM) during the UN Human Rights Council’s 60th session.

Brody asked Pakistani authorities to stop using force unlawfully, release people jailed for peaceful protests, and restore internet access. He stressed international support is crucial. “Support victims, demand justice, and don’t let politics overshadow human rights,” he said.

The situation highlights Balochistan’s ongoing struggle for truth, justice, and basic human rights.
