Andhra Pradesh Home Minister *Anitha* has criticized YSRCP chief *Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that it is not Chandrababu Naidu who grants opposition status but the **people of the state*.
Speaking during her visit to *Ongole*, Anitha suggested that if Jagan himself does not want to attend Assembly sessions, he should at least send his MLAs. She condemned his attitude of demanding opposition status like “a child throwing tantrums.”
The minister stressed that skipping Assembly sessions would only harm public interests. “The Assembly is a platform to raise people’s problems. If Jagan truly has commitment, he should participate in discussions on public issues,” she remarked.
Anitha’s comments highlight the growing political tussle in Andhra Pradesh, with the ruling party urging the opposition to take responsibility in addressing people’s concerns within the legislative process.
