Bihar Grand Alliance Manifesto: Released in Installments

Bihar Grand Alliance manifesto release

The Grand Alliance in Bihar has decided to release its manifesto in parts ahead of the Assembly elections. The first part will be launched on Wednesday by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. This Bihar Grand Alliance manifesto is mainly focused on gaining support from the Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs).

A major promise includes raising the reservation limit to 65% and ensuring wider participation for the most backward classes. The alliance also pledged to include this increase in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution, protecting it from legal rejection. Another key promise in the Bihar Grand Alliance manifesto is conducting a detailed caste census to ensure fair representation.

Senior leaders of Congress, RJD, CPI-ML, and other allied parties recently met in Patna at Tejashwi Yadav’s residence to finalize these decisions. They discussed seat-sharing, candidate selection, and strategies to take on the opposition. Although the CM candidate was not disclosed, leaders stressed unity and a strong joint campaign.

The Grand Alliance’s step-by-step manifesto release is a strategy to keep voters engaged and highlight issues affecting EBCs. Their promises are designed to secure wider public support before the elections.
