Logo unveiled for Guru Teg Bahadur martyrdom day events in Punjab on Thursday. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched the logo while announcing a series of state-level commemorations to mark the 350th martyrdom day of the Sikh Master.
The CM said the Punjab Government will organise grand and historic programmes to honor Guru Teg Bahadur, also known as “Hind di Chadar.” Logo unveiled for Guru Teg Bahadur martyrdom day events is a symbolic start to these once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.
According to the plan, a massive kirtan darbar will take place in Delhi on October 25. On November 25, a major event will be held at Anandpur Sahib, the sacred land associated with the Guru. From November 20, four nagar kirtans will start from Jammu, Gurdaspur, Faridkot, and Takht Damdama Sahib. All processions will reach Anandpur Sahib by November 22, followed by three days of spiritual and cultural functions.
Mann said the underlying message of the commemorations is to inspire people to follow the ideals of secularism, humanism, and sacrifice taught by Guru Teg Bahadur. The government aims to make the 350th martyrdom day a memorable and historic occasion for generations to come.
