The Bihar government has announced 10,327 new recruitment posts in Bihar, creating job opportunities for unemployed youth. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary shared that these jobs will be filled soon across different departments.
The Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department has the most vacancies, with 5,953 posts. The Home Department follows with 3,568 posts. Other openings include Agriculture (293), Education (89), Finance (12), Disaster Management (87), Science & Technical Education (106), Animal & Fisheries (72), and Art, Culture & Youth (143).
This step comes ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA government aims to provide at least one government job per household in Bihar. Nitish Kumar also promised that 10 million young people will get jobs or employment opportunities within the next five years. Already, 1 million have received jobs and 4.9 million are employed.
This large-scale Bihar government recruitment drive is expected to boost employment and bring relief to thousands of job-seeking families in the state.
