Prime Minister Narendra Modi reminded the women of Bihar about the hardships they faced during the RJD’s rule. He said Bihar must not return to that dark era, where corruption and oppression made life unsafe, especially for women. He highlighted that the NDA government has worked hard to restore law, order, and development in the state.
Before the Bihar elections, PM Modi transferred ₹7,500 crore into the bank accounts of 7.5 million women. Each woman received ₹10,000 under the Chief Minister’s Women’s Employment Scheme to help them start small businesses. He congratulated them for this fresh start.
Addressing the 10 million women of Jeevika, the Prime Minister said it is the government’s duty to protect women from difficulties. He recalled times when broken roads, floods, and lack of hospitals caused great suffering. The NDA government, through schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, provided gas connections to mothers and sisters, reducing health problems from smoke. The government also worked to improve connectivity and ensure better food supply.
PM Modi urged women to stay alert and not allow Bihar to fall back into fear and misrule. He said this is the only way to secure a safe future for their children.
