YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy has been granted bail by the Vijayawada ACB court in connection with the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam. The court allowed his release on two sureties and a cash surety of Rs. 2 lakh. As part of the bail conditions, Mithun Reddy is required to appear for questioning twice a week to assist the ongoing investigation.
Mithun Reddy was arrested on July 19 by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore liquor scam and was identified as A4 in the case. Following his arrest, he has been held in Rajahmundry Central Jail, where he has remained until the latest bail order.
With the court granting bail, Mithun Reddy is set to be released shortly after completing the necessary formalities. The investigation into the liquor scam continues, and Mithun Reddy is expected to cooperate with authorities under the conditions of his bail.
