President Droupadi Murmu will perform darshan at Sabarimala on October 22, the final day of the Thulamasa Puja. Her visit is part of a two-day tour of Kerala from October 22 to 24. She will arrive in Kerala in the afternoon and proceed to Nilakkal before heading to the sacred hill shrine.
The darshan at Sabarimala is scheduled for the evening of October 22. After visiting the temple, President Murmu will travel to Thiruvananthapuram the same night to continue her official engagements.
Kerala Devaswom Minister V. N. Vasavan confirmed the president’s visit during the closing of the Global Ayyappa Sangam. Security arrangements have already been strengthened around the temple, Nilakkal, and the route leading to Sabarimala to ensure a smooth and safe visit.
The Sabarimala temple opened on October 16 for the Thulam month’s observances and will remain open until October 22. The doors will close after the rituals conclude, marking the end of the monthly puja.
The president’s visit holds deep cultural and spiritual significance. Her darshan at Sabarimala reflects devotion, respect for tradition, and unity among people of different faiths in India.
