Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini commenced his official visit to Japan on October 6, 2025, with the goal of enhancing economic, industrial, and cultural relations between the two regions. During his trip, CM Saini extended an invitation to Japan to partner in the upcoming ‘Happening Haryana 2026’ investment summit scheduled for April 2026.
In Tokyo, CM Saini engaged in discussions with Japanese officials, including Takuma Miyaji, Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Yuichiro Koga, State Minister for Economy, Trade & Industry. The meetings centered on exploring investment opportunities in sectors such as next-generation mobility, green energy, advanced electronics, and precision manufacturing in Haryana. Both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Haryana and Japan, with CM Saini highlighting Haryana’s role as a gateway for Japanese manufacturing in India.
On October 7, CM Saini traveled to Osaka to attend the World Expo 2025, where he inaugurated the Haryana State Zone and participated in an investment roadshow to showcase Haryana’s industrial capabilities. He also met with major industrial leaders from companies like Kyocera, Horiba, and others to discuss potential collaborations.
The visit underscores Haryana’s commitment to becoming a global hub for innovation and investment, aligning with the state’s broader industrial development plans.
