The Tennis Premier League (TPL) is gearing up for Season 7, scheduled from December 9 to 14, 2025, at Gujarat University Tennis Stadium, Ahmedabad. India’s two-time Grand Slam champion Rohan Bopanna will lead SG Pipers Bengaluru alongside top international players like Luciano Darderi, Corentin Moutet, and Alexandre Muller. Fans can expect exciting tennis action and intense competition.
The season auction is set for October 9 in Mumbai, where eight franchises will finalise their squads around marquee players. Bopanna, the 45-year-old doubles legend, will make his second TPL appearance. Other international stars include Darderi for Rajasthan Rangers, Moutet for Gurgaon Grand Slammers, Muller for Gujarat Panthers, and Rinderknech for Hyderabad Strikers.
Several Indian players will compete alongside global stars, ensuring high-quality matches. Tennis icons Leander Paes, Sania Mirza, and Mahesh Bhupathi, along with Bollywood celebrities, are backing the league, further boosting its appeal. Co-founders Kunal Thakkur and Mrunal Jain said the league inspires young Indian players while raising competition levels.
With eight top franchises — GS Delhi Aces, SG Pipers Bengaluru, Gurgaon Grand Slammers, Chennai Smashers, Yash Mumbai Eagles, Hyderabad Strikers, Gujarat Panthers, and Rajasthan Rangers — TPL Season 7 promises electrifying matches, spectacular tennis, and world-class entertainment for fans.
