Following the unfortunate demise of MLA Maganti Gopinath, the Jubilee Hills assembly seat in Telangana will go to a by-election on November 11 . The Election Commission has released the official schedule, with the notification set for October 13. Nominations will be accepted from October 14 to October 20, followed by scrutiny of nominations on October 21. The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is October 23. The counting of votes and announcement of results will take place on November 14 .
The Jubilee Hills by-election is part of a larger set of by-elections scheduled across the country on the same dates, including JK-Budgam, Nagrota, Rajasthan-Anta, Jharkhand-Ghatshila, Punjab-Tarn Taran, Mizoram-Damp, and Odisha-Naupada.
