Singer Maithili Thakur Bihar elections talk is growing after her recent hints. During an event in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, she spoke about her meetings with BJP leaders Nityanand Rai and Vinod Tawde. She said they discussed Bihar’s future but no official announcement had been made.
Maithili said she would like to start her political journey from her home area, Benipatti in Madhubani district. She feels close to the people there and wants to learn from them. Reports say the BJP may choose her to contest from Benipatti.
At just 25, Maithili is famous across India for her folk songs and bhajans. Her rise from a small village in Bihar to national fame has inspired many. Now, her entry into politics could begin a new chapter in her journey.
When asked about her plans, she said, “Everything depends on God. Let’s wait and see what happens next.”
