The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) in Bihar has raided multiple properties of Pranav Kumar, Executive Engineer of the Building Construction Department. The raids were conducted in Patna, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, and Muzaffarpur, following allegations of disproportionate assets worth ₹1.59 crore.
Pranav Kumar, who also oversees electrical units in Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur, joined the department in 2014. The SVU team seized cash, documents, and valuables during the search at his Darbhanga residence. Investigators have filed case number 22/25 under the Special Vigilance Unit Police Station.
Officials confirmed that the operation was based on a complaint of ill-gotten wealth. The SVU is also questioning two other employees linked to the engineer. The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be revealed after the inquiry.
