Visakhapatnam: In view of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s upcoming ‘Chalo Narsipatnam’ tour, police have issued strict guidelines to prevent any untoward incidents. Authorities instructed the organizers to strictly adhere to the prescribed regulations and ensure smooth conduct of the event.
They warned against assembling large crowds on highways or junctions that could disrupt traffic movement. Police officials stated that the organizers will be held fully responsible for any law-and-order issues or violations that may occur during the program.
Additionally, they emphasized that the number of attendees at the Medical College grounds should not exceed the permitted capacity for safety reasons. The advisory reflects heightened vigilance by the police to maintain public order and security during Jagan’s visit, which has drawn significant political attention across the region.
