Prashant Kishor, chief of the Jan Suraj Party, has decided not to contest the Bihar Assembly elections himself. Instead, he will focus on fielding candidates across all 243 constituencies. Kishor, known for his sharp political strategies, will play the role of planner and decision-maker for his party.
Earlier, he hinted that he might contest from Raghopur or Kargahar if the party wished. However, sources now confirm that he won’t enter the poll race personally. Meanwhile, Jan Suraj has launched a donation campaign via the Jan Suraj Yojnad app to fund its election efforts, allowing supporters to contribute from ₹100 to ₹50,000.
As the Bihar Assembly elections approach, Prashant Kishor’s party is making its presence felt alongside the NDA and Grand Alliance. He continues to travel across Bihar, urging people to vote for their children’s education and the state’s bright future.
