Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur led the Jaipur Polo Team to an 8-2 win against Kanota Polo at the BM Birla Cup. From the first chukker, Jaipur dominated, with the Maharaja scoring three goals to take an early lead.
Kanota Polo fought back in the second chukker, with Kr. Pratap Singh Kanota scoring to reduce the gap to 3-1. Despite their efforts, Jaipur’s defense and counterattacks kept control of the game.
In the third chukker, Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh scored another hat-trick, bringing Jaipur’s lead to 6-1. His skill, teamwork, and commanding presence earned enthusiastic applause from spectators.
The final chukker saw Jaipur secure the win with flair. The Maharaja scored his seventh goal, while Lance Watson and Br. Devvrat Singh Jhalamand added goals. Kanota Polo scored a late goal, but Jaipur Polo emerged victorious 8-2. The team has also recently won the Gen Amar Singh Kanota Cup, Sawai Man Guard Cup, and Chinkara Cup.
