Actor Probes Meant to Distract from Sabarimala Gold Case: Suresh Gopi
BJP leader and Union Minister Suresh Gopi has suggested that recent investigations involving actors may be a deliberate attempt to divert public attention from the ongoing Sabarimala gold controversy. While he did not name any actors or specify the case in question, Gopi hinted at a possible political motive behind the sudden focus on the film industry.
Speaking to the media, he said such distractions often surface when larger issues—like the alleged mismanagement or disappearance of gold offerings at the Sabarimala temple—begin to gain public traction. Gopi emphasized the need for transparency in the Sabarimala matter and called for accountability from those responsible.
His comments come at a time when Kerala is witnessing heightened political and media activity around both the temple gold case and allegations involving prominent figures in the entertainment industry, fueling speculation and debate across the state.
