Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has begun the process to appoint new District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents across all districts in the state. Party high command has initiated the selection exercise to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level. Starting today, applications for DCC president posts are being accepted by the party leadership, and the AICC observers will scrutinize the applications over the next seven days.
As the Congress is currently in power in Telangana, the AICC aims to appoint strong and influential local leaders to key district posts to ensure effective coordination between the government and the party cadre.
The leadership’s focus is on selecting candidates with proven organizational capability and local popularity. This restructuring move is part of Congress’ broader strategy to consolidate its base and prepare for the upcoming local body elections.
