Modi Invited to Key Middle East Peace Summit by Trump and Sisi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a last-minute invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to attend the Sharm El-Sheikh summit. The high-level gathering, focused on resolving the ongoing Gaza conflict, is set to bring together over 20 world leaders.
The invitation, extended on Saturday, highlights India’s rising diplomatic profile on global issues. The summit aims to facilitate talks around a ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and long-term peace in the Middle East.
While Modi’s attendance has not been officially confirmed, sources suggest it could mark a significant moment in India’s engagement with global peace efforts. Egypt and the U.S. are co-chairing the event, signaling a joint push for international consensus on the crisis.
If Modi attends, it would reflect India’s strategic interest in contributing to global stability and humanitarian cooperation.
