Kirti Vardhan Singh represents India at Gaza Peace Summit in Egypt to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.

Union Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh arrived in Cairo to represent India at the Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh. He posted on X that he came as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special representative for the event.

Prime Minister Modi welcomed the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan between Israel and Hamas. In a message on X, he praised the leadership of PM Netanyahu and hoped the agreement would ensure aid and peace for Gaza.

Egypt announced that the summit will take place at Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday. It will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump. Leaders from over 20 nations will join to discuss the Gaza ceasefire and regional peace.

UN Chief Antonio Guterres will also attend the summit. The recent ceasefire deal was achieved through Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and US mediation. It includes troop withdrawals, opening of aid routes, and release of hostages and prisoners in the first phase.
