Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has once again raised serious allegations of voter fraud in the Jubilee Hills by-election, claiming that fake votes were registered in certain polling booths.
BRS leaders revealed that in Booth No. 125 of the Vengal Rao Nagar division (House No. 8-3-191/369 ), as many as 27 voter entries were found linked to a single house. According to the house owner, he currently lives alone, and only two tenants had stayed there previously. He expressed shock over the presence of 27 names in the voter list, stating he has no idea who they are.
The BRS demanded an immediate probe by the Election Commission into the incident and strict action against those responsible. Party leaders alleged that such voter manipulations are being carried out deliberately to influence the by-election results in Jubilee Hills.
