Hyderabad: Former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has called on BRS cadres to reach out to every household in Jubilee Hills and expose what he termed as the Congress government’s unfulfilled promises. Speaking at a meeting in Rahmathnagar, KTR accused the ruling party of deceiving the people and failing to deliver on key welfare commitments.
He pointed out that even after 20 months in power, the Congress has not implemented the promised ₹4,000 pension scheme, leaving each elderly beneficiary owed nearly ₹48,000. “People deserve to know how much the Congress owes every section of society,” KTR said, urging BRS workers to take the message door-to-door and person-to-person.
KTR added that the Congress’s inability to fulfill its financial and welfare assurances shows poor governance and betrayal of public trust, vowing that BRS would continue to hold the government accountable.
