Andhra DGP Assesses Security Measures at Srisailam
Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh conducted a comprehensive review of the security arrangements at the Srisailam temple and surrounding areas on Tuesday. The visit comes ahead of the festive season, which is expected to draw large crowds to the famous pilgrimage site.
The DGP inspected key entry points, crowd management systems, CCTV surveillance, and coordination between local police units and temple authorities. He emphasized the need for heightened vigilance, smooth traffic regulation, and prompt emergency response mechanisms to ensure the safety of devotees and tourists.
With the expected influx of visitors, officials were instructed to deploy adequate personnel, enhance night patrols, and monitor suspicious activity closely. The DGP also interacted with senior officers, reviewing their preparedness plans and response strategies.
