The Telangana government has removed Sumanth, the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Minister Konda Surekha, following serious allegations and intelligence reports against him. According to official sources, Sumanth was accused of leaking sensitive information that led to differences among ministers and of attempting irregularities in the Medaram project tenders.

An intelligence report also stated that he was involved in settlements and anti-government activities, prompting swift action from the administration. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reportedly took the issue seriously and personally directed his immediate removal from the post.

The development has caused a stir in political circles, with the government signaling a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption, internal leaks, and misconduct among officials.
