The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially announced Lankala Deepak Reddy as its candidate for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. After a series of internal discussions and evaluations, the party leadership finalized his name, giving him the green light to contest the high-profile seat in Hyderabad.
Several aspirants, including Keerthi Reddy, Padma Veerapuneni, Alapati Lakshminarayana, Akula Vijaya, and Kompalli Madhavi, were in the race for the BJP ticket. However, the party’s central leadership ultimately decided in favor of Deepak Reddy, considering his organizational strength and local connect.
The announcement marks the beginning of BJP’s active campaign in Jubilee Hills, where the contest is expected to be intense with BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha and Congress nominee Naveen Yadav also in the fray.
