The Bihar Congress Candidate List 2025 has been released, marking the start of election preparations. Congress has declared 22 candidates even before the Grand Alliance’s seat-sharing deal was finalized. Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram will contest from Kutumba. The list includes key leaders like Pratima Das (Rajapakar), Anil Kumar (Bikram), Sanjeev Singh (Vaishali), Amit Kumar Tanna (Riga), and Lalan Kumar (Sultanganj).
The names were approved by the Central Election Committee in Delhi and later shared on social media. Congress leaders Krishna Allavaru, Rajesh Ram, and Shakeel Ahmed have begun distributing party symbols in Patna. Other partners in the Grand Alliance include RJD, VIP, CPI(ML), CPM, and CPI. This early announcement shows Congress’s intent to take a lead in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
