Telangana Expects Record 1.48 Crore Metric Tonnes of Kharif Yield: CM Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that Telangana is expected to achieve a record 1.48 crore metric tonnes of paddy yield during the current kharif (monsoon) season. Addressing the media after the Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister said the government has made strong arrangements to ensure smooth procurement and to prevent any inconvenience to farmers at purchase centers.

Revanth Reddy stated that the Cabinet has taken key decisions to strengthen the agricultural supply chain and ensure timely procurement, transportation, and payments to farmers. He emphasized that farmers’ welfare remains the top priority of the Congress government and that adequate measures are being implemented to support storage and logistics during the harvest season.
