Prashant Kishor has launched Jan Suraj as a bold alternative in the Bihar Election 2025. Kishor, who isn’t contesting himself, has fielded candidates in all 243 seats. He claims Jan Suraj will either win fewer than 10 seats or cross 150. He criticized Nitish Kumar’s leadership, calling it weak and chaotic, and dismissed smaller allies like Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan as symbolic. Kishor says Bihar’s traditional power balance between the NDA and Grand Alliance will be broken by Jan Suraj’s rise.
