As the Jubilee Hills by-election gains political intensity, the Congress Party is working to consolidate its position by reaching out to the Left parties for support. The Congress leadership believes that a broader alliance could strengthen its chances of victory in the high-stakes contest.

Telangana PCC Chief Mahesh Goud met with CPI leaders at the party’s state office and formally requested their support for the Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. The CPI leaders responded positively, stating that they would discuss the proposal in their state committee meeting on October 20 before announcing a final decision.

The move reflects the Congress strategy to unite all anti-BRS and anti-BJP forces, presenting a common front in Hyderabad’s politically crucial constituency, where every segment of voter support could prove decisive.
