Home Minister Anitha conducted a review meeting with officials of the Disaster Management Authority in view of extremely heavy rainfall forecast across South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. She warned that strong winds and severe weather conditions are likely, and urged the public to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
The Minister instructed NDRF, SDRF, Police, and Fire Services teams to remain on high alert to handle emergencies and ensure swift response. She also advised citizens to stay indoors, avoid venturing near low-lying or flood-prone areas, and follow official safety instructions.
