A tragic accident occurred at Yellampet X Roads in Medchal when a mini bus lost control and collided with oncoming two-wheelers. One person died, and another sustained injuries in the mishap.
The victim was identified as Malothu Srinivas, a 35-year-old assistant professor at Mallareddy College. He suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. The injured person was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
Srinivas, a native of Kamareddy district, was returning to Hyderabad after visiting his hometown for festival celebrations. He was residing in Kompally at the time of the accident. The mini bus driver claimed that brake failure caused the crash, leading to this unfortunate incident.
Medchal Police have launched an investigation into the accident. Authorities are examining the vehicle and interviewing witnesses to determine the exact cause. The public is urged to follow road safety guidelines and remain vigilant while driving.
