The Sigma & Company gang, responsible for five murders in Sitamarhi’s, Bihar, has finally been wiped out. In a joint operation by Bihar and Delhi police in Rohini, gang leader Ranjan Pathak and his aides Aman Thakur, Vimlesh Mahato, and Manish Pathak were killed in an encounter. These men had openly confessed to their crimes and were planning another major conspiracy during the elections.
Their elimination brought huge relief to the residents of Sitamarhi, who had lived in fear for months. Police and local businessmen expressed satisfaction, saying peace has finally returned. Though people avoided speaking publicly, their relief was evident after the end of the Sigma & Company gang.
