Avinash Pandey Bihar elections responsibility has begun with a major challenge—pacifying angry Congress workers. During the Bihar elections, growing tension in the Congress party over ticket distribution has created unrest among leaders. Senior leaders like KC Venugopal, Ashok Gehlot, and Ajay Maken reviewed the situation and carried reports from district observers to Delhi for further action.
The reports revealed dissatisfaction in key constituencies such as Nauten, Bihar Sharif, Khagaria, Barbigha, Sultanganj, Supaul, and Kumhrar. In response, the party high command assigned Avinash Pandey Bihar elections management duty to settle the rebels and maintain unity. He will stay in Bihar until polling ends to ensure stability and smooth coordination among leaders.
The meeting also discussed campaign strategies for alliance seats and upcoming rallies by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram, Krishna Allavaru, and MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh joined the discussions. Held at the Gardanibagh war room, this meeting marked the beginning of a crucial phase for Congress as it tries to strengthen its position in the upcoming polls.
