At the Priyanka Gandhi Bihar rally in Bachhwara, Begusarai, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi strongly criticized the Modi government. She said that even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s voice goes unheard and that all power lies in Delhi. According to her, there is no “double-engine” government in Bihar — only one engine, run from the center.
Priyanka attacked the government for giving Bihar’s land to rich industrialists while the poor gain nothing. She urged people to rise, take charge of their future, and not fall for false promises.
She reminded the crowd that Bihar is the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi’s fight for the Constitution. It gave people the right to vote and choose their leaders. Priyanka said that this right is now under threat as the BJP weakens democracy.
Raising the SIR issue, she claimed that over 6.5 million votes were unfairly canceled. She said it was not just about votes — it was about citizens’ rights. Despite bad weather, she reached Begusarai by road to continue her campaign.
The Priyanka Gandhi Bihar rally became a call for unity, courage, and self-respect.
