Trinamool Congress MP and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has extended his support to Prashant Kishor and the Jan Suraj Party in Bihar. He urged voters in Kumhrar to back KC Sinha, a well-known mathematics professor and author. Sinha praised Prashant Kishor for fielding an educated and respected candidate like KC Sinha, mentioning this twice in his tweets.
The Asansol MP, who previously served as a Union Minister under the BJP, criticized his former party for sidelining members of his Kayastha community. He shared three tweets praising Prashant Kishor, calling him a visionary leader and urging people to watch Kishor’s recent interview.
Sinha, originally a BJP leader from Patna Sahib, joined Congress in 2019 after being denied a ticket and later moved to the Trinamool Congress. He has been vocal about caste representation and fairness in candidate selection. His public support for Prashant Kishor in Bihar signals an interesting shift in state politics.
