Hinduja Group Chairman Gopichand Hinduja Passes Away in London
Gopichand Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Group, passed away in London on Tuesday. He was part of the second generation of the illustrious Hinduja family and took over as chairman in May 2023 following the death of his elder brother Srichand Hinduja.
Under his leadership, the multinational conglomerate expanded its footprint across banking, automotive, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors, continuing the legacy built by the family patriarch, Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja.
The Hinduja Group, headquartered in London, remains one of the largest diversified business empires with operations in over 30 countries. Tributes poured in from global business leaders and political figures, who remembered Gopichand for his vision, philanthropy, and contribution to India’s global business influence.
He is survived by his family, who are expected to continue overseeing the group’s extensive international operations.
