Bihar Elections 2025 are gaining momentum as 149 candidates contest across 14 assembly constituencies in Patna. More than 4.8 million voters will cast their votes from 7:00 a.m. on Thursday to elect new MLAs. The Election Commission has arranged 5,677 polling stations across the district.
A total of 607 model booths have been set up to ensure smooth voting. Out of these, 541 will be managed by women, 49 are designated as model booths, 14 cater to people with disabilities, and three are for young voters. These arrangements reflect the inclusive and secure approach of Bihar Elections 2025.
Security has been tightened under the supervision of the District Magistrate. Central Armed Security Forces (CASFs) have been deployed at all polling stations. Mounted patrols are covering the Tal and Diara regions, while a quick response team ensures rapid action during emergencies. Every polling booth will be closely monitored from the dispatch center to the district level. Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone attempting to influence or threaten voters during the Bihar Elections 2025.
