Ishaan Madesh Dominates National Karting Finals

National Karting Championship 2025 sees Ishaan Madesh dominate senior max as racers battle for podiums across categories.

Bengaluru teenager Ishaan Madesh from Peregrine Racing showcased outstanding skill with a commanding win in the senior max category during the fifth round of the MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship 2025 held at Meco Kartopia, Bengaluru.

Ishaan topped every session — practice, qualifying, heat, pre-finals, and finals — strengthening his lead in the championship before the final round next week. “It wasn’t easy; they were closing in, and I had to keep pushing,” Ishaan said after defeating Aarav Dewan from Gurgaon (Leapfrog Racing) and Krish Gupta from Mumbai (Rayo Racing), who finished second and third.

Other category winners included Kiaan Shah (Rayo Racing) in junior max, Rehan Khan Rasheed (Momentum Motorsport) in mini max, and Shiv Neel (MSPORT), son of India’s first F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan, in micro max. Each race witnessed intense competition, with several lead changes before the champions emerged.

Rehan dominated the mini max races, while Shiv Neel impressed with sharp overtakes to clinch victory. Faridabad’s Arshi Gupta finished second, followed by Shiv Tummala (Peregrine Racing). The thrilling performances added excitement ahead of the final championship showdown next weekend.
