Amidst the Bihar elections, a surprising scene unfolded at Patna airport as RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav and BJP MP Ravi Kishan crossed paths for the second time in two days. Their friendly exchanges sparked lively debate across political circles.
Tej Pratap downplayed the meetings, calling them a coincidence. “It just happened that we met yesterday and today,” he said with a smile. Ravi Kishan, however, gave the moment a spiritual twist, saying, “A pair of Mahadevs, together they sound the conch shell.”
On Friday, the duo had also met warmly at the airport, greeting each other as devotees of Lord Mahadev. Ravi Kishan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the BJP embraces those who serve selflessly. He added that Tej Pratap shares a similar image among people, and only the public can decide what comes next.
Tej Pratap reiterated that his support lies with anyone who can reduce unemployment and create jobs. He also praised efforts toward vaccination. Recently, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi invited Tej Pratap to join the NDA, citing admiration for Modi’s development work.
