Bihar Elections: Lalu Confident Tejashwi Will Oust Nitish Kumar

Bihar Elections Lalu Confident

Political activity is heating up in Bihar as the election battle intensifies. NDA leaders have confirmed that the alliance will contest under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership. Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance has projected Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial face, with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav expressing strong confidence in his son’s victory.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Lalu declared that Tejashwi will lead the next Bihar government. “If the Grand Alliance forms the government, we will eliminate unemployment,” he said, adding, “This time, we will oust Nitish Kumar’s government.”

When asked whether he would ally with Nitish if the Grand Alliance fell short of a majority, Lalu firmly said, “We will not accept Nitish Kumar. We are not in touch with him.

This marks a change from his earlier stance. In January, Lalu had said he would forgive Nitish and take him along if he rejoined the RJD. “It is our duty to forgive. But Nitish always runs away,” Lalu had remarked.

As both camps gear up for the polls, the Bihar political scene is set for another high-stakes showdown between Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav.
