Telangana PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the BJP of secretly supporting the BRS in the Jubilee Hills by-election. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he said both parties are working together to weaken Congress in the state. He stated that after Congress came to power, many welfare schemes were implemented that the BRS had ignored.
Goud alleged that Union Minister Kishan Reddy is obstructing every welfare initiative launched by the Congress government. He added that the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election is a “trial run” for a potential merger between the BRS and BJP. According to him, the friendship between Kishan Reddy and KCR is well known to everyone.
He said Congress had granted 42% reservations for BCs, while the BJP opposed them. Goud also commented that the Congress party never interferes in family disputes, pointing to the recent complaint filed by Maganti Gopinath’s mother at the police station.
He demanded that KTR respond to the allegations made by Gopinath’s family. Goud reaffirmed that Congress remains a secular party committed to equality and welfare for all.
