Andhra Cabinet Meet Before CII Summit

Andhra Cabinet to discuss CII Summit Visakhapatnam, investment approvals, and major development proposals in Amaravati.

The Andhra Pradesh state cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will take place on November 10 at the Secretariat. The meeting will focus mainly on the preparations for the upcoming CII Partnership Summit scheduled in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

Top ministers and senior officials have already been assigned responsibilities to ensure the success of the summit. Delegations led by ministers have visited several countries to invite global investors and industry leaders to attend the event. The state government is expected to finalize proposals involving large-scale investments that could generate employment and boost industrial growth.

Reports suggest that the cabinet may approve proposals for investments worth several lakh crores. These approvals could pave the way for new industrial projects and create major job opportunities across Andhra Pradesh.

The cabinet will also discuss compensation for farmers affected by Cyclone Midhili and the damage assessment of crops. Another key proposal involves a ₹7,500 crore loan for CRDA and NAFED constructions to accelerate development in Amaravati. Additionally, land allocation proposals for various companies are expected to receive approval.
