The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has introduced a new digital feature for passengers. Travelers can now book APSRTC bus tickets directly through Google Maps, in addition to the existing website and mobile app options.
Passengers searching for routes such as Vijayawada to Hyderabad on Google Maps will now see available APSRTC bus services. Along with route distance and travel time, the map will display bus schedules and timings. This integration helps users check real-time bus options and plan their trips more conveniently.
When users click on the ‘Book’ option within Google Maps, they will be redirected to the official APSRTC website. From there, passengers can enter their details and make payments online easily. Officials said this feature was successfully tested on the Vijayawada–Hyderabad route.
Following the pilot success, APSRTC plans to expand this service across Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to make travel bookings simpler and more digital-friendly for passengers throughout the state.
