Born and raised in Udupi district, H. Rajesh Prasad has built an inspiring career in public administration. He is a 1995-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre. Over the years, he has served in several key positions and earned recognition for his dedication and leadership.

Mr. Prasad began his education in Bommarabettu and Hiriyadka before studying at Hiriyadka High School. Later, he completed a B.Com degree from MGM College, Udupi. Afterward, he pursued a law degree from Delhi University and an MBA from IGNOU. He also obtained a Master of Public Management from Pondicherry University. Each step in his journey reflects his commitment to learning and excellence.

Meanwhile, committee president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak said the felicitation aims to celebrate both achievement and humility. According to him, Mr. Prasad’s rise from a small town to one of India’s top administrative roles will inspire many students in Udupi. Moreover, the event will bring together local leaders, educators, and former classmates to honour his success.
